Macey Media Studio Welcomes You!

Macey Media Studio is located in Sandy, Utah and was officially established in May 2011. The Studio is pleased to offer beginner and intermediate Guitar lessons (including music theory) at the studio or at the student's home. In addition, writing, illustration, photography and digital design (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator) services are available as well. Whether you're just starting out or want to take your playing to the next level, Matt Macey can help you get there! There are a number of reasons to consider Matt as your guitar teacher.

  • Experience - Matt has been playing for nearly twenty years, and has taught a number of beginner and intermediate students for the past eighteen months.
  • Personalization - Matt is dedicated to teaching you guitar using selections and songs from the genres you love. He moves at a pace that is comfortable for you.
  • Fun - Matt strives to vary the lessons and find ways to make learning the guitar fun.
  • Flexibility - Matt will teach you acoustic or electric guitar. 
  • Location - Matt teaches from his home in northern Sandy, Utah. Centrally located, his home is minutes away from several freeway exits. If getting here is a problem, Matt will soon be offering lessons via Skype.
  • Expertise - If needed, Matt can help you pick out the right guitar and equipment to fit your needs.
